You will work for a leading chartered accountancy practice based in the Sevenoaks, Kent area. This organisation is a modern, forward-thinking firm and have experienced significant growth over the past few years. This is a great opportunity to join the payroll team in a varied role where you will be able to manage your own portfolio of clients and assist others where needed.
Your new role

* Processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll, from end-to-end, including joiners, leavers, and changes.
* Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports, payslips, and preparing payroll journals.
* Managing auto enrolment process including payroll deductions, opt outs and refunds and AE provider file processing.
* Handling payroll queries, from clients and HMRC.
* Produce annual reports where requested, by both the London and Sevenoaks office, for audit purposes.

What you'll need to succeed

* Strong experience processing end-to-end payroll; preferably in a bureau capacity.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills to adhere to strict deadlines.
* Strong ability to monitor statutory payments and deductions.
* Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency with Excel.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

What you'll get in return

* Salary of £28,000 - £32,000
* Hybrid working after probation (1 day from home per week)
