You will work for an exciting and progressive organisation based in Chatham, Kent. The Accounts Assistant role is a full time and permanent opportunity. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the office, with the remainder being office-based.
Your new role
* Processing invoices for accounts payable and employee expenses.
* Processing purchase order requests utilising our procurement system.
* Processing accounts receivable in our accounting software.
* Preparing sales statistics for the wider business, in cooperation with other team members.
* Preparing and maintaining fixed asset register and posting journals.
* Bank reconciliations on a daily basis.
* Contributing to month-end reporting.
* Reconciliation and analysis of company payment cards daily.
* Other ad-hoc duties.
What you'll need to succeed
* AAT qualified or part qualified with relevant commercial experience.
* Experience of computerised accounting systems (preferably Xero).
* Proficient Microsoft Office user with spreadsheet manipulation skills and an aptitude for Excel.
