The Net Magazine is looking for a suitably experienced person to provide a wide range of administrative support across all parts of the business. The varied nature of the different support functions make the job both interesting and challenging and will require the applicant to be very flexible and adaptable.

Many of the jobs are very time sensitive / limited so require the applicant to be very well organised to be able to deal with competing demands.

The successful applicant will be first point of contact for all departments i.e. administration; sales; marketing and distribution but also be expected to provide specific support (detailed below):

Administration / Marketing
The identification of ‘targets’ for new sales; despatch of ‘Media Packs’ to prospective clients. Design / management of Social Media posts.

Credit Control ... processing card payments; confirming anticipated BACS payments; pursuing debtors.

Sales
No ‘Direct’ sales. Essentially a customer relations role requiring contact / communication with customers at different stages of the sales process i.e. post sale / pre-contract renewal / end of contract to improve the customer experience and contribute to the development of internal sales processes.

Distribution
To support and assist the Distribution Manager. Key responsibilities include recruiting (mostly through Facebook); inducting and managing distributors. Applicants should be able to demonstrate good people management and communication skills to deal with any and all issues arising during ‘distribution’ of the magazines.

‘Distribution’ necessarily involves some time spent (up to three days each month) working in the Warehouse preparing leaflets and magazines for delivery to the distributor network.

The handling and movement of leaflets and magazines require applicants to be physically fit. Applicants must also have a Full valid driving licence and be willing to drive a small van when required.

Web Site
To provide support immediately following the monthly publication of the magazine to update the web site.

- Using a CRM system to manage and update the business website.
- Competent with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Adobe products an advantage (Photoshop & InDesign)
- Familiar with social media apps
